Hi fella's --

I'm looking for a plastic or steel barrel, not sure if anyone has one spare?

I'm not looking for a pristine one - a hammered one will do - because I would like to create a "spare" barrel that I am going to rust up so that its similar to the one that was in the Worldcon case.

I would need it shipped to Australia.

Many thanks and best
MARK

LOL, cheers Rich.

Actually, I would be more than happy to pay that. The only problem is that we are not permitted to own real firearm parts (even a magazine) of any description in this country.

Cheers for the offer.

Regards

I have sent many a model to your country as you can get a permit.

One person has gotten a permit for a real Bulldog frame, so you should also be able to...perhaps.

You might want to check on it.

Cheers Rich --

It depends on your state, because in some states permits can be easier to obtain than others but that's only for a replica weapon or parts. I've obtained permits before but its still not a slam dunk because even with a permit I recently had a Tomenosuke blaster seized and thrown into the furnace simply because it entered the country via a port in another state - not the state I reside in. It can be very complicated and on the other hand, sometimes its so laughably easy that you wonder why they even bother.

When it comes to genuine gun parts and weapons however, the law is especially hard - its not simply a matter of obtaining a permit unless you are a licensed gun-owner and there are very few genuine gun owners in Australia. Again, its not impossible but here too I was caught off guard when I had a genuine magazine for a .45 colt taken. Sometime you loose and sometimes you win but the rules are there and given my experience with the Tomenosuke I am very weary of the fact that even paperwork sometimes doesn't guarantee delivery..

Regards

Well I do have a old pewter barrel on hand, it is like my aluminum ones, solid but for a hole 1 to 3 inches in front.

I can let you have it for $30.00 plus shipping.
