|
|
I have granted Tomenosuke the rights to recreate the Acrylic Blaster Stands that I designed and was selling a couple of years ago. They now have all my original cutting files, although I gave Shinji-san some recommendations for improvements. They are also not going to include the blade Runner logo due to copyright. He has posted about it here:

Awesome, man. Best looking stand, IMO. Almost like it's floating.
Glad your work will be getting some more eyes on it. I'll definitely be buying one. |

Very cool news indeed...congrats Dave Too bad about the logo, it added a "je ne sais quoi" to the whole stand. |

Does anyone know when and where to order these? I missed Dave's original run and have been kicking myself since then.
Cheers!

I haven't heard anything about orders yet. Originally they were only going to produce a limited number of stands, I'm not sure if that plan has changed. All I can recommend is to keep checking the Tomenosuke blog for updates. _________________ Dave

Thanks Dave.
And congratulations on having your work recognized! It was a brilliant design.

Looks great! They took my suggestion and increased the thickness of the plastic at the bottom front of the butt plate. My stands occasionally broke there. _________________ Dave

In the ad, what does "Type A, B, and C" refer to? |

3 types of stands have been made to allow each Tomenosuke Blaster PRO to be used.
TYPE-A: For use with the Hero Model and World Convention Model presented in a package featuring designs by Lady Aiko, as well as the Assembled Model and Assembly Kit presented in the earliest packages featuring designs by Jakob Stærmose.
TYPE-B: For use with the Police Model presented in a package featuring a design by Lady Aiko.
TYPE-C: For use with the Assembled Model and Assembly Kit presented in the second packages featuring designs by Jakob Stærmose (with small blaster illustrations on either side of the word "留之助ブラスターPRO" on the front of the packages).
Pre-order starts on October 13th at 9pm JST. Follow this link to order. _________________ Monsieur, azonnal kövessen engem bitte |

So, the three types (A,B,C) are needed because the dimensions of the blasters are significantly different ?
Any idea what type would be best for a Takagi blaster ? |

No major differences. The different stands have subtle differences because the three main Tom-PRO variants have subtle differences in profile from each other.
Takagi fits?....check with the manufacturer of the blaster or of the stands...they may know or someone here who has a DaveG stand and a Takagi blaster may be able to assist I guess. |
