That is so cool. Is this the original blaster or a facsimile? If it is just a recreation, I'm impressed by the attention to detail... the black paint on the grip is worn away in the same spot as the original. |

Ehhhh.... I like the one on the left
Question: WHICH blaster are we seeing on the left? Commercial, "secret lost prop" or custom...? _________________ Monsieur, azonnal kövessen engem bitte |

I would bet that it's a recreation of their own making. I wonder if they matched the serial numbers...
Anybody know the armorer / prop house they used?
I kinda like the new one too |

Nothing can replace the original, obviously, but I feel like we desperately need a new generation of rad space-guns. Fingers crossed! |

Whether symbolism or a snapshot of the weaponry that Deckard and Gosling's charater will carry, I can't help but think it's a tilt of the hat to all of us BR nuts many of whom are trembling in their seats at the very idea of a sequel. Ridley, Ford, the blaster, and the Cibi are pictured so as to say in one collective voice, "it's going to be alright." |

We're definitely due for another gun for sure and the new one on the pic seems to be it! Now, what's also exciting is that this group of fine people seems to be on a...wait for it: A SET! That's right folks, don't adjust your screen, but this is a set. Which one? Don't know, but at that point, I don't care ...I think I peed a little |

Brilliant veektohr!...and who cares about house chores
Thanks for that Anders! Well, now we know what's what; no more guessing games about the guns made for the movie. |

Spare parts
I wonder if they had any internal documentation about the blaster for their build, or if its accuracy is based off everything that's been discovered in the past ten years. Maybe that's why it took so long for a sequel - nobody knew how to make the dang gun |

Just checked out the rest of that convo on the props facebook page and Brad Yuen goes on to say that the new blaster has;
"no real gun parts"
Which I think is a shame as I had hoped it was a shooter with blanks rather than a fakey one with digital muzzle flash. |
