Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but take a look here:

http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=254475

The shirt we all like is coming back in style...

Magnoli's products are not cheap but they are worth every penny. I have a number of things I have purchased from him over the years and I am always blown away by the quality..

Regards
MARK

The pink and blue shirt was of the highest quality back in the day but was very expensive and fell short on accuracy and I`ve always been baffled why he did not correct the tie colours.
I wont reveal what I paid for my old correct one but it was the most brutal ebay battle I`ve ever been in, still get cold shivers.

Tim, do you have some up close pictures of you old tie? Would love to see the colors....

Was it one of a kind? Do you know who made it?

Only what you see in the costume and prop shop threads Anders, I reduced down the originals and didn't save them, sorry.

Every once and awhile I`ve searched for Deckard ties and haven't seen another. Was a long time ago and cant remember the seller.

No problem, I'll take another look there

Just curious as I'm thinking of venturing into the whole costume thing!

My intention was to only get the coat Anders, once I had it the rest of the outfit became an obsession.

I've been obsessing about this shirt for years... I even send Indy Magnoli some design ideas to make it happen, eager to see if these ideas have been used?!

I can't. Even if the price was affordable, his colors look off to me. The top panel looks more pink than salmon. It might be lighting differences, but I think the issue it might have is that the original shirt looks to have been weathered a little bit and faded in areas, but the repro just goes a a shade bit lighter to try and match the faded areas. It makes it feel like a different shirt to me. I would have preferred a darker shirt I could naturally fade a bit on my own to keep with the whole "the future is old" feel of the film, or at least have his shirt as if it was a new shirt, instead of a shirt that just loses on both counts. Sad

Andy

You do know you can just send him the fabric you prefer, right? This is just the standard edition... they'll make it anyway you like....
