Is this proof that the Blaster is back for the sequel? Look on the table in this photo (one of the first official photos released from the filming in Hungary):

LOL! BTW. Gotta love the Cibi tumbler glass there too. Looks empty though.

Super awesome Shocked Might be just me but its got a Giger feel to it. The grip looks very unusual indeed like solid snake scales.

Not convinced this is the Blaster they will be using in BR 2049. I believe this is a "Red Herring!" I refuse to believe Ridley would sanction such a visually uninspiring weapon. No way! Sad

Well, it's hard to see the whole gun from that shot. I'll reserve my opinion for a better pic. Wink

It crossed my mind that Deckard's newly built blaster probably has some minor differences with the older one.

Might give us a reason to create a whole new variation to collect and obsess over.

Someone mentioned that the new blaster might be a red herring but maybe the original blaster is the said fish. Just seems a long time for Deckard to keep his trusty sidekick,
apart from the obvious reason to include it in the movie for connection sake, cant think of why he would hang on to it.

Thinking at the very least it would hold nothing but bad memories or implants for him. See what I did there?

I know there`s all the talk about how many versions were made etc but...
