I had considered going back and taking another crack, but it sounds like there's a pro at work, so I'm excited just to sit back and see the cool results.

Andy, I appreciate the kind words about by old stuff, but boy is it obvious they were done a decade ago.

Its nice to see someone having a go at them with the HD film as the source. Best of luck & I can't wait to see them when they are done!

Whitefall, they are still very "precious photos" to me. Especially since you did them. Guys like you, Richard Coyle, Gary W., Phil S. and Rick Ross did great work that is now part of BR Folk and Fan history. You guys are my mentors as a fan.

Now how about replicating the Dossier with the clear pages in the Deleted scene cut? Smile

Sorry; I'm not ignoring everyone. I've just been busy.

I have secured the materials I need to do a limited run of the photos. I just want to check out the new Blu-ray Final Cut when my box set finally arrives here in good ol' Blighty.

I shall be back soon. The same goes for my version of the apartment card. I shall be looking for any extra details I can find.

good to hear Smile I was gonna have a pop at making these, but haven't been successful in getting hold of any 1080 caps, so I hope that run isn't too limited Wink

hope you dont mind me re-posting this image but I was wondering where this photo of Roy Batty was from? It's not captured from the movie and I've only seen it partially on a cd cover:

As for the keycard, there isn't much more info other than the images posted here and what southwell talks about. You'll notice now that the keycard is a manual laminated card (not hot laminate). The edges of the printed card/paper within the laminate are very rounded and a hole we never noticed before is alot more visible now Wink

That photo comes from the Cinefex article, albeit heavily retouched to lose the process pattern but hold the detail.

They explain in the caption that it was shot with a very slow shutter speed whilst he turned his head so that it would appear out of focus.

I can put my word in for BeastMaster here - I have one of his Rachael photos and it's superb! It looks just as it did in the film, and feels JUST like a real photograph. Cool stuff!

Hey Guys, a belated surprise Christmas present.

http://syndime.com/RPF/photos01.jpg

http://syndime.com/RPF/photos02.jpg

These are 200dpi files. My own files are 400dpi, but I'm holding them back. Sorry.

These images print out at 6" x 4.5". I have also made artwork for more traditionally sized 6" x 4", but I think that these are the closer match to the film.

Remember to print them out on a high gloss paper, ideally a really heavy paper. I use a special photographic film and stick it firmly to 1.5mm black plastic sheet. In the scene where Deckard puts the corner of the photo in his mouth and moves to sit in front of the viewer it looks to me as though these photos are more rigid and slightly thicker than a normal photo.

Enjoy!

Oh yes, and please remember that these are a free gift and I don't want to see anybody selling them anywhere. Okay?

If anybody wants me to print a set out and mount them on plastic for you, just email me and we can work out a price.

Thank you for your very generous gift. I think I'll take these to my local digital photo printing place and print them on photo paper.

Thanks Kevin! this is mighty generouse of you Very Happy

Great job cleaning up that cinifex Batty photo! I'm definately adding that to my collection.

I get my photos printed at boots via their 1 hour chemical photo developing system. The colours come out perfect and it's a real photo print, and only 30p a print! Smile

!!!

That's a good price.

I have been printing these out on Epson photographic "film". It's a sort of plastic substrate rather than paper and adheres very well to the gloss black plasticard.

And for anyone who hasn't looked yet, there are four images there; two per sheet. That's all four of my Leon's photos.

Thanks, Kevin

Looking at some of the other photos, looks like there's Chinese / Japanese on them:

LOL, I'd be willing to bet that not only does Kevin know that those characters are there, but he knows EXACTLY what characters are there. Wink
