Thanks Joberg, I’ll Compare these measurements to mine over the next few days.

One thing, 19mm in my book is 3/4” not “almost a half inch”!

But I like the idea Of the 390mm - 400mm width.

I realise now I went from that 360mm mock up of the Propstore plans back to the 430mm machine. What I should have done is tried the 400mm option first. The larger head would probably have fit with the extra 40mm.

A numeral 8 and a close parantheses ) is interpreted as a sunglasses-dude emoticon...

I had that problem with my list so I left the bracket off.

Pays to preview before you submit!

Joberg, I've done a bit of comparing of your measurements to mine.

While not exactly the same they are in the same ball park!

I guess some of the longer distances could be 7mm - 9mm different.

Proportionally your shapes of monitors etc differ from mine.

Also some of your conversions to inches may need checking.

Like I said 19mm is more like 3/4" and you have 15mm as 1/4" somewhere.

I still can't subscribe to the 19mm button. 19mm square is bigger than a cross section of a finger!

The size of the buttons look considerably bigger when illuminated!

I think the big difference now is I'm using these Propstore plans and I don't think you are.

But hopefully we have set an approximate size.

The rest of the machine is down to personal preference/taste.

At the moment I've opted to go for a machine just short of 400mm wide using 15mm square buttons and shop bought LED graph bars which seem to be pretty standard sizes.

I think I'm looking at the main monitor with a viewing area diagonal of 4.5".

I think that the machine you'll do will represent the prop as best as possible, knowing the difficulties encountered with the lack of definite measurements.

I'm leaning, more and more, toward building (once again) the prop. As I said before, the prop is in SRS production house in London...please, someone goes there and ask the receptionist to measure any part of the machine

Fixed it. There is a box underneath when you post, that disables "smilies" aka "emoticons". Like they said above the 8 and the ) together is the old fashioned way of doing the sunglasses smiley. The coding on here will automatically convert it to the emoticon version.
