Apologies for making a second post with some hopefully not obvious questions!

More of needing a clarification on the first.

If using a real bulldog, or on the original prop they intended to fire blanks, so my guess is the hammer stays intact, but is bobbed? If that's the case does anyone have a photo of the aftermath of doing it, just for curiosity sake?

Also the shell ejector rod, It appears it is trimmed down under the side cover but I cannot tell...what needs to be done with this on the real gun?

Thanks for reading, im doing my best as a noobie here to read as much as I can and soak it all in, and search as best I can before asking.

Very Happy

Hello

Yes, you are correct. Hammer is "bobbed" and the ejector rod was filed down to be shorter in order to clear the casing. Filed down a little crudely, so a modification that was probably done while the gun was being put together.

Figured out the hammer, I 3d printed a mock barrel just for fun and can see how the stock shell ejector wont clear anything...I think it needs to be cut here:

Make sure you have downloaded the pics of the Hero from Karl Tate here... http://propsummit.com/viewtopic.php?t=156

These will answer a lot of your questions if you haven't downloaded them yet.

It was a police turn in that gets de-commissioned via chopping up.

Luckily for me the rear of the gun is so customized on the blaster it wont be an issue to weld up a bracket to hold the grip frame.

I paid $13 for it so its worth the extra effort.
