That one was made by spinner44.com, He is a regular member here so hopefully he will chime in. Eltee is also making some badges, and had some similar, but his new one will be closer to the street cop badges.

BTW, are you the famous Phil from France that has his pictures of his collection on BladZone? Welcome to propsummit anyway Wink Good to have the long time fans here.

I say go ahead and PM them. I know Eltee and also Blad (who makes them in resin), may also help you out. Blad is living on the Island of Guernsey, so he is not too far from you (or at least from France) if that helps.

Please come back often. We hope to make this the best site for making Blade Runner become something even more real.

Yeah, that was a very limited run I put together. No more of those. I'd go with Eltee's metal badges.

Damn it's too bad you're not selling those anymore, spinner.

Anybody know of a movie-authentic badge that maybe comes with a wallet (like a set)? I can see myself getting hold of a badge, but not finding something nice to fit it in..

Hello,

I have one of the wallet and badge sets that was made by Phil Steinschneider a few years ago. It looks like the Spinner44 one, only the badge is resin and not metal. Phil advertised the badge and ID card as being copied from an original screen prop he had access to. There is some controversy over the accuracy of the badge and it has been debated on a couple of prop websites.

I have the Phil S. wallet with the picture badge for sale. I bought it directly from Phil, and it comes with the COA that he provided with the purchase. Phil would not purchase it back and therefore I am no longer bound by the NDA that was part of the purchase. Based on my communications with Phil, I am free to advertise and sell this set. No ID card, but they are available elsewhere.

I am selling this one because I have one of Spinner44's sets that are made in metal.

Check the "Prop Shop" for a picture of this item I am selling. Out of respect for Phil who did not want photos of his set to be publicly displayed, I am only posting it here on Propsummit although I am free to show it w/o limitations.

I truly don't have any conclusive evidence as to what type of badge was used in filming (and not shown onscreen). The badges I made are based on the theory that cops generally carry a wallet badge that resembles their uniform badge so mine (not the Phil S. one discussed here) is a scaled down unform badge. I had them done in silver and gold finishes. Morgan Paull, who played Holden in BR, told me he recalled a badge and ID card was given to him during filming. Paull has played cops so he knows the difference between a badge (metal) and an "ID badge" (paper/plastic). Here's a pic of Mr. Paull holding the Detective David Holden wallet set I created with Blad's sculpting skills.

He says in his topic that it's going for at least $300, because that's what he originally paid. I'm guessing it was part of that hilariously overpriced project by Phil S right?

For the Phil S. wallet, I believe he is asking the $300. Otherwise, are you asking about the wallet he is developing? I am curious to the price on that as well.

The Phil S. wallet and picture badge, with the COA provided by Phil is $300.00...what I paid for it. The advantage in buying mine is you are not required to sign Phil's NDA, etc.

"We've matched the wallet exactly. Although the original manufacturer of the wallet went out of business, we found the company that purchased the assets. They still have the wallet pattern. They've agreed to make them custom for us--very exciting."

From what I've seen, the wallet in Phils set doesn't look particularly unique and is pretty much identical to the one I got off ebay as well as the one in spinner 44's set. It also still has the black felt covering the ID which is removed in the initial beauty shot of the source wallet and the movie version (possibly to prevent it from getting in the way of the ID) I also removed this felt from my wallet.

I'm just interested in the metal picture badge with the smaller metal "police" badge above it...that's a very cool design and one I've not seen before.
I wasn't too impressed with Phil's wallet when I stumbled on it a year or so ago.
I could be wrong but it looks to me like Deckards has some kind of snap that keeps the right "card and photo" section closed over the badge section.
