Hey all, I've always admired the rendering of the Blade Runner
shotgun by Mr. Ross . This hopefully will chronicle my attempt
at making my own design. This will be a full metal gun made
mostly from aluminum with a cnc. Below are the first parts that
have been assembled.

My idea is to have it be a dual purpose weapon. The first
being a regular double barreled shotgun. In shotgun mode
the primers of the round would be struck by firing pins connected
to dual servos. The second would be rail mode. This mode
will change it to a rail gun fired by two high powered capacitors.
I chose to call this round the "Talon" round .
The round has a plunger on the nose and as it hits the victim
the plunger is depressed pushing the round outward like talons
on an eagles claw, kind of like a hollow point bullet. As the plunger
is depressed more it strikes a detonator and explodes a small
explosive charge. This will give the replicant a strong desire to
take a long dirt nap.

This may take a while to finish. I'm still writing CNC programs
for all the parts . I hope you guys will follow along.

Don

Wow... Looking fantastic already. Shocked

HEY Don......

Your photos on this Forum are huge. How come so big?

OK if one has got a huge computer screen to view them.

Any way of reducing your photos sizes you post or upload them?....
so they sit "normal" size on the Thread pages.

If anyone knows how to scale these pictures down I could use
their advice.

Best way would be to just resize them before uploading. Oh, and AMAZING project. I can't wait to see this finished Smile

K might get one . I am starting to get the hang of
CAM in Fusion 360 so that's getting easier. I will probably
sculpt the fore grip and main grip in Fusion and 3D print
masters out to make molds and then cast the grips
in amber.

Hey guys. I've been working a bit on this so I'll show you what
I have. I've 3d printed the foregrips and now I'm sanding and
filling them so I can use them as masters for my mold. After the mold
is made I'll cast them in amber.

I'll have more later.

Don

Actually it is just black primer. I like the look of it though so
I may just put satin clear over it when I'm finished.
