Did anybody notice this amazing wooden box where Wallace's weird little implant keys are kept?

Are there pictures of it in the art book?

Are the keys found objects or costum made?

Seems like it's custom made. Maybe the box is a found object (I've seen these over the years, usually made by artisans).

Wow. You've seen ones with the same sliding lid? It looks like a giant Toblerone...

Man... the majority of the new props just don't live up to the original Film.

K's Blaster, The Camera Lens/memory maker, the carved horse, Luv's Drone Sun Glasses, the Portable VK. Nothing is bad per se, just doesn't feel inspired or genre defining like first one.

I'm beginning to suspect that no matter what it will be easier to get someone to make a box like that than to find one Confused

You think the keys are custom made too?

Yep, and it seems that Jared was fitted with some kind of magnet behind his ear, so those "chips" could be stuck to him.

I'm actually in the process of building a replica of this prop. It doesn't appear in the art book, but the chips are called 'Halos' and one of them interfaces with the Barracuda drones Wallace uses to inspect the new replicant. I've built a few mockups and think I have the size about pinned down as close as I can tell. About to start working on the graphics for the halos.

I've put together a bunch of reference images, and keep adding more as I learn more about this thing. It's such a cool piece!
Here's a link to my reference gallery if you're interested.

And here's a reddit post where the text of the keys have been translated.
