One of my concept sketches. Thought you'd all enjoy it.

Just do not repost this image without my permission as it is copyrighted.

I saw it yesterday before bed. It was pretty impressive, but it seems to be missing now.

I think he was worried about someone taking it.
I'd love to see it though.

Looks great!

If you're using Firefox, right-click on the "broken image" icon and select VIEW IMAGE.

In IE, you can click on the icon and select PROPERTIES, then highlight and copy the image URL. Paste that into the ADDRESS field at the top of IE and hit ENTER.

Safari? Opera? Some other browser? Yer on yer own, Bub.

Sorry about that. I fixed the image link, should be visible now unless photobucket decides to go on coffee break.

USA in-joke. There's a male model over here named Fabio (famous for posing for romance paperback covers) who appeared in a commercial for "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" brand margarine.

Fabio is also a restaurant entrepreneur here in LA...he has a restaurant called the Fabiolus Cafe. (Rimshot!) He also has a reputation as a first-class asshole. Then again most showbiz folk here are first-class assholes. Cool

Thanks! I wasn't really going for a rendering of the off world colonies per se, mostly I was just testing a custom brush in Photoshop. Most of my work has a strong sci fi/blade runner influence.

Thanks! One of these days I'll get around to either putting it all into a book, or selling prints. I haven't decided yet which route to go.

Wow!! Amazing work.
Not just the Refinery pic, all the rest in your gallery as well. I can't believe how fast you did some of them!!
It would take me a month and then I wouldn't be satisfied and I would throw my computer out the window and cry!

Yeah the use of custom brushes in Photoshop really speeds up the process. Since I only have to draw the refinery section once, and then I sample it, at which point every time I make a mark with the sampled brush, it replicates that refinery, so I can just paint in a completed shape in seconds.
