Looks nice, it is ashame it is not what was originally promised However, I am considering picking one up since I sold my Philippes cast awhile ago.
Please let me know what you think of it once it is in hand!
Thanks

I'll let you know.According to QMx fan feedback was that they wanted a low cost stunt version like this and a full featured metal. So they removed the intended metal parts from this version, which they claim is not a huge detraction.I think people who preordered are getting the option to wait for the metal.... |

My new toy came today. The piece is quite nice and pretty much exactly as shown in the pictures I posted(one of which disappeared for some reason). The thing that is striking about it is the length,14 and a half inches,I never got the impression it was so long from the show or movies.More weight would have been nice the "real" weapon is listed as 4.5 pounds this prop weighs about a pound.I'm figuring a holster for one of the big old Colts of Civil War vintage is going to be needed to contain it,I've beeen looking for one similar to Mal's that isn't a fortune.(A guy on Ebay is selling a beautiful recreation holster but it costs $25 more than the gun)If the meatal version isn't ridiculous in price I may have to get one of those too when it comes out.... |
