No haha! Forget i said anything.
That'll teach me to post after being up all night. It is in fact one of the half size tiles. Still an EBH item but... |

Yes I was aware of the size. It will be going in my office. I already have a 16" tile that needs to be vac-formed. Hopefully soon too.
Thanks for the post.

Pretty Rare tile and decent price. Good pick up S44. I thought about bidding, but money is very low after my move and paying security deposit (I still don'e have internet as of yet). So I am sure all the rare and most wanted BR things will be showing up on ebay as we speak . Glad you got it John. |

Yeah...I was the one that got the bid on that over $50 (hyperion_of_borg)...figured if it went for more than that I'd go ahead and let it go. |

precinct,
Thank you again for the heads up. The tile arrived and I have to say I was blown away by the quality and detail. I compared it to the recast 8" tiles that are being currently offered and all I can say is that there is no comparison. And I only paid $20 more to boot. I can't begin to say how happy I am.
At home where it belongs.

What are these recast 8 inch tiles of which you speak?
Yeah the EBH ones are really nice items. After seeing your pic I feel I should really get mine out of storage and display them. |

These ones: http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=34069
Don't get me wrong. They are pretty nice. A light stain and some stppled fleck would make them that much better. However having one of these now just makes me plain happy.

Spinner, I shot a paypal to the seller on that RPF thread last Wednesday, but I have heard no reply from him yet. I really want a tile one way or another, I suppose I should have asked around here first. I hope I have not made a mistake.
BTW, I bought one of your Vid-Phon cards off the 'bay recently, simply beautiful. |

Kgaijin,
I wouldn't worry. His casting looked great. They just need a little something extra in the finish to make them "pop", that's all. Considering the tiles seem very hard to find, it's a bargain in my opinion.
Thanks,
John |

Sounds good, I should have no problem giving it that finishing touch. I just got an email from him too, the tile shipped Friday, can't wait.
