I'm looking at the front of the blaster on the right side (Deckard's left).
There appears to be some kind of rod resting on the slight inset of the magazine base's lip and coming out at an approximately 22 degree angle.
Any ideas as to what it is?
I've not seen this discussed before, but if I missed it, LMK.
Does it appear in the HD version?

If I'm looking at what you're looking at, it looks like a trick of the light on the front of the magazine:
Or did I misunderstand what you were saying? |
