Hi everyone,

Just wanted to give a shout out from Norway to everyone contributing to this forum. I'm pretty new here, but love every minute I spend here. I've even gotten a few good contacts through this thing. Thanks a bunch.

Here is a picture of my so called Blade Runner Shrine.
This is my collection so far. I'm still looking forward to getting a whiskey bottle through that project, and I'm thinking about buying one of those genuine whiskey glasses that Deckard uses. I know the glassware in this picture has nothing to do with Blade Runner, but I'm just using them as temps.

I'd still love to get ahold of something propper to display the gun, as well as one of those shot glasses Deckard uses. I think that along with a whiskey glass and matching bottle, will make a great deal of difference in my collection here.

Welcome!
Your collection it's tiny, but you have an interesting starting point IMHO. Final Cut and Blaster will be two of your best pieces in time.

Take care!

It is a lot more than what I had when I started out. And being a member here will mosty likely make it grow exponentially. Thank you for sharing the pics, can't wait to see the updated ones in a few months Wink

Nice collection

eBay almost always has an auction going for the banded shot glasses, so it should be easy to snag one eventually.

Just wanted to point out that every single item has been collected this year. So I don't think it's too shabby.

Also, I only want things related to Deckard so to speak. I'm trying to make it look like a collection of things related to him somehow.
I also don't care to display items that reveal it's a movie.
That is why I don't display the Spinner that comes with the 5-disc set.

Interesting point of view. Yeah! If you focuses only in this particular area, your collection will be unique. Also, will be hard to do... Deckard apartment furniture, items, clothes... well, you have a hard course to do! Good luck!

Focusing is a must... or your collection will *never* stops... I know for experiene. How many books are Blade Runner related in the *world*? Well... my shelves have more than 100 now... and every week, every month, a new book appears to be "related to"... The same with movies. Final Cut has seven editions... in US. But... add the Spanish editions, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean.... it's a ruin!!! But I'm happy to be one of the all these versions owners... (oh! I'm the only one so crazy??? ). My focus is wider, but... this is my fault also!

Deckard collection will be very nice if you make it bright as twice!

Check the link about Deckard's Apartment:

And take care!

The nice thing is they are fairly common, I just picked up another pair at the thrift store for .99cents!

I've always wanted a set of some real good large shot glasses like those. I see the type in American movies all the time, but they are impossible to get ahold of here in Norway. Our standard for shot glasses are more like the tsing tao ones. Sad

No worries.
I was thinking I'd include a couple with your BR Whiskey Bottle!

Wow!

That is really generous of you. That would be much appreciated.
I've tried a couple of times to get some glasses like those from eBay, but everything I've come across has had some kind of logo or other distraction printed on them.

Let me know if you come across anything distinctly Norwegian you want. For example, a moose-crossing sign or something Razz
Haha.
