I'm making a fan film based in the Judge Dredd universe. Hence my forum name.

I'm not making any props they are being provided by a friend and the CGI by another.

I like the Blaster and the bike both!
Can you tell us anymore about the project?

I like the bike. Tires that wide and flat would make it a b!&*h to lean into corners, though. You'd be relegated to mostly straight roads, which sucks.

Pretty cool, otherwise. Like OB says, tell us more.

Cheers. Thanks for asking.

The film will be based on Judge Minty, a little know but fondly remembered character created by John Wagner and Mick McMahon. The original story was written over twenty years ago. He's an aging Judge who is forced to 'retire' from the streets, mainly it seems because he has become too compassionate.

He chooses to take 'The Long Walk' into the Cursed Earth, there "to take law to the lawless". Our film will be based around his first experiences in the radioactive wastes.

It will be a 'short' film mainly filmed in the Cursed Earth (North Wales) with a few minutes of Mega City One at the beginning which will be live action against a CGI background. We'll be shooting on HDV.

This film has only become possible because of the work of Steve and Dan, two very talented people how are working on it out of love and perhaps for their showreels. I'll be handling the initial script and direction.

Since we first mentioned our intentions the response has been amazing, we had a convention wanting to show the film before we'd even written a word!

There's a facebook group if you're interested.

Another pre-production image. The actual character would be in his late fifties to early sixties and the 'rad cloak' would have shoulder pads underneath it.
