Looks very cool. I like that you didn't cut the angle on the front of her. Looks tougher all boxy like that.

Yes Noeland, forgot to undescorce this but my main intention was to keep the Marushin barrel intact, just to try another tougher version of this concept Cop...

Anyway, here is the final result...

I must admit I'm not totaly satisfied by how it looks, there's too many colors for a gun of this size... so I'm going to repaint the barrel completely black asap !

Final version soon !

Fred

Yeah Fred...good job. I like the 3 colour scheme you have there; I wouldn't change anything (but you have to be happy with it _

Great work Fred, have you considered having an ankle holster made?
Has anyone got any pics of a genuine ankle holster?

+1. Love it Fred.
Joberg said it right though, you have to be happy with it.

Thank you again for the comments, mates !

Andy, the grip was first painted black, then I've added 2 light coats of brown using a large brush. The main goal was trying to give it a used look... The trick is to use the brush almost dry...

Sorry Tim but no ankle holster intended for this gun... It'll sit somewhere in my workplace with other props, just like a "casual" object !

OK, here is the final version... I'm much more happy with this "straight" paintjob !

Fred

I agree. The black looks better than when it was silver.
Love the LED in the grip as well (See J, it can work :p,lol)
Turned out awesome.
Very well done Fred.

I love everything about it with the exception of the obvious Lego greeblies. IMO, if you are going to add details like this, they need to be as other-worldly as what they are added to, not something as easily recognizable as a Lego block.

I've tried a lot of wiggets options for the side cover and finaly Lego was the best of them all...
The simple shapes enabled to compose a volume that reminded me a little of Syd Mead's concept blaster (the center round shape) and Deckard's screenused blaster side cover...
I'm happy with the very simple aspect those Lego wiggets have, sorry if they don't meet your standards... Lego rules !

OK, 2 more pics to close the "Bullfrog Cop" part of the thread : A side to side comparison with Sidkit's regular version and the buttplate (this one is almost gun porn, I know, I know)

Fred

Oooh.......*dribbles*
I think the Lego works well as well.
Also, Fred, what is that little button on the left?
Does it activate the LED?

OOOPS, sorry for the late answer !

Shocked

I won't make a run of them, I only had one axtra Sidkit Cop and decided to show how I played with it, that was the main idea behind those last posts...

I don't have the time or skills to do a run... and if I had, that would make me a recaster, can you imagine that ? I can't.

Hope you'll understand.

Fred
