That is just too cool! Cool

Here's a link explaining it:

Thank you for your interest in my work.

I am currently working on finishing the table design, as well as trying to finish my PKD Enforcer. Once I have the Enforcer finished I will produce a very limited number of my version of the Sebastian Chess Set. As I have previously stated, they are not 100% accurate, but I have come as close as I possibly can. I will post updates as I move forward again on them.

Thank you again. It does mean a lot to me.

Rick

Rick,

What do you think about the idea of offering individual pieces for those who do not have the room(or money) for a complete set?

I'm so sorry for the delay on this project as well. Unfortunately I am currently suffering from chronic back pain and as a result I've been unable to work on anything at the moment. Please continue to bare with me. I will get there soon. Although I do have the molds finished already, I still need to develop a more efficient way to cast these complicated shapes with high detail. In addition, I need to improve the finish for the "faux Jade". Where as the faux Ivory comes out of the mold the right color, the faux Jade, on the other hand, is a painted finish. I simply need to achieve the correct dye mix so they come out of the mold pre-colored.

Thank you again for your continued interest in my work.

Sincerely,

Rick

Hope you have the pain under control.

That happened to me a few years back and I was eating the muscle relaxers like M&M's. Razz

Get well soon!

I don't wanna repeat what others said, but if they contribute to better health for you, here I am!

Chess sets can wait. Your back is more important!!!!

I know this is a bit off-topic, but it's related to sci-fi film chess sets and indirectly to Ridley Scott, one sequel removed:

I just thought it was too cool for school not to post.

(Better than just typing ^bump^, right? )

For the record, I'd LOVE one ot Rick's Sebastian chess sets!!! Any updates?

I talked to him last night. His is busy with work and taking care of his health. He is working hard on the chess board right now. He hopefully will be in to show pictures at some point, but too many real world things keep him from doing the fun stuff and finishing all he has on his table.

Happy to know he's (almost) Ok! We must be patient, not problem!

Thanks Andy!
