I am pretty sure after scouring the forum that my kit isn't an original kit, but a recasting. It had some issues with pinholes and one of the grips was pretty warped. Also, the trigger guard wasn't a separate piece, and there were some pretty bad seam issues on the center grip and butt-plate. But, for the price it wasn't bad.
Plus, if it isn't gonna be a challenge, why do it?

Greetings all! A handful of you may know me from The Aliens Legacy, I also frequent AXP, and I also hit Eagle Transporter from time to time under the screen name AphaRecon (though I haven't been their in a while).
My name is Mike, I'm 39, live in the USA, I'm a CG Artist by trade, a science fiction geek, and I have a love for props and replicas. I recently ordered the Hollywood Collectibles Group Pulse Rifle (OD version), I've had a resin-cast pulse rifle, motion tracker, and VP-70 on the bench for ages now, and I maintain a small ALIENS fan site (which is need of an update).

Man, sounds like you got some amazing props, the pulse rifle especially.
I'm a member on Eagle Transporter aswell, didn't post alot and haven't been on in ages either.
