I was thinking for the simple stuff just to add some weight to the gun, and give it a more realistic feel. There is no way this would work for the receiver or any part that has any real detail to it.

Hi Rich,

Well, I may be out on the roof with this… but if you could swing giving us Propsummit fellahs a break, and make available for sale a kit version of your heater at around the $500 mark, I’m betting you’d sell a few… not trying to bust yah; ‘just a lot of folks are behind the eight-ball with their cabbage these days.

I will give it some real thought.

Perhaps a two level offering: a basic, mainly castings for that and a near ready to paint for a couple of hundrew more??

A show of hands?

I can trim, cut, sand, buff, blue, paint, and fit!!!! I just need the raw parts to do it on!!!!!!!!!!!! It can be a special edition. Only so many kits made. Must be ordered and half paid for by dec. 31st or something like that. No plaque just a paper certificate, signed by you stating this is a prop summit special addition kit and that 40 plus hours of labor will be needed to finish such a kit. That would be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

500.00 bucks is within my grasp. To own a Coyle for that price would make me a happy camper.

Understand at this price you would be getting more of less raw castings, there would be a lot of clean up and sanding drilling taping and even some machining.

These will be for advance model makers with power tools and a shop, with good model making skills.

What machining? I would need the holes drilled in your new steel barrels. Maybe this needs to be a 2 stage kit. 500 raw, and version 2 with the machining done for a bit more? As for the cast stuff I have the tools to cut, sand and drill that stuff. Its the steel barrel that is the problem for me anyways.

Funny thing is drilling the steel barrel is easier that a pewter one, the pewter is soft and will jam the drill, steel drills better and smoother...

I plan on doing the main machining and making of the barrels so only drilling the mounting holes will be needed.

I will also try to take pictures and write notes on special work that will be needed.

Rich whats your limit? Like at least 25 kits? I know from emailing you that you get this stuff made in shifts and per awaiting orders. As you put it you keep it tight to the vest. So I think once a price is set for the upper level kit. You could do a sign up list on the prop shop section to see who is in. If we meet the minimum # of kits, then a cut off on the number of kits would be set. Say you got 50 people to sign up, You could set the kit as limited to 66 or something. So you could have some extra's for johnny come lately' or Ebay or what ever. Then a deadline could be set for 50% up front. ( say Dec. 31st that way christmas is over and some of us may have gift money to spend) To cover your costs on parts. Then when they were set and boxed in your hands the next 50% plus shipping to where ever, and they could go out!!!! over sea stuff could get broken down into 2 box's so they could also order your stuff past customs!!!!

Rich whats your limit? Like at least 25 kits?

I will try to make this easy; any over 5 will get us going.
And I will take requests for a short time, say up to first of the year, perhaps if things go well beyond.

I will just see how many want this now.

That will also work.
Why don’t you go ahead and set this up.
Figure on the Simple one at $500.00 and we will see how many need the more complete version.
Rich
