That is cool!
Hate to think of how much those things cost though. |

Don't you love it...before you had to know certain people who worked personally on movie set to have props/models, etc.
Now, it goes directly to the auction house |

Too true.
I'd love to get an original prop (of some sort) one day but at these prices i doubt i ever will. |

One thing I've noticed about the PSOL is that when the new props are posted daily (Monday through Friday), sometimes among the offerings a big-dollar or a popular prop will be posted as already having been sold.
Makes me think they might grant VIP/early-bird access for some people (with platinum cards).
Check out the E-11 blaster they have listed from Star Wars ANH for almost 30 grand! |

Thanks for the link Oldzey.
Was looking for mugs close to the one in Moon the other week.
These would look really nice framed...
And another nod to “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep"
Quote: | remove all non-flammable objects including watches, jewlery and kipple |

Lots of photos of the props made for MOON in Sci-Fi & fantasy modeller #14 (the rovers, harvesters, Gerty, the base, etc)
Joberg, you're going to love Gerty (the film HAL like robot), they have incorporated a Bic holder on one of its (numerous) sides !

See Fred: never dismiss found objects (less things to mold or to scratch-build) |

I've been archiving the full-sized auction photos.
I'll upload them and post a link once the auction is over. |

Too bad that almost all the third thumbnails (with the "c" suffix on the photo links) don't take you to the full-sized image.
I really like the Lunar Industries Crew T-Shirt - would be cool to do a run of those.
Here are some medium-sized thumbnails of the shirt:
