Well it seems switch companies feel their specs as to size are only a guessament...

I got in the new second switch to find that 10 mm is really 10.5mm. And that 4mm is really only 3.7mm.

So I now have ordered three sets of switches from a different vender and from two other companies.

I only have some final machining to do the barrels.

I just drilled the spring’s holes in the triggers and hammers.

Now these are the special holes the ones that take a special jig to drill.. as is the spring holding hole in the pistol frame, I am doing anything that takes special rigs or jigs to do...

So when the switchs get here which fits best will be packed to go.

SO please send your payment for the basic kits, first 15 only please.

These will start shipping by the end of this week or the first of next with out fail.

I will review the Photos as I build up the first models and change anything that needs updating and complete the photo instructions, and then place them on a photo hosting service called Dropbox.

By the time I receive your payments I will be sorting and packing these models.

They will ship either by the end of this week or first thing next week by US Postal Priory Mail insured, (someone should be home to sign for it...)and allowing for delivery of the power switch and any last minute thing.

There are 15 models ready to go at this time. I plan on numbering the Plaques in the order that you joined the list so please tell which number you are. (1 and 4 are taken..)

Thanks for your understanding in the delays and your support.(Of course your getting the latest updated model which caused the delays...)

Please make payment of $500.00 plus $20.00 for shipping of your basic kit with in the USA via PayPal to racprops@cox.net.

Those of you overseas please email for shipping costs.

UK orders can be grouped and shipped though a UK Contact. (Thus saving on shipping and helping insuring a safe delivery.)

OK Here is my current count:

I see 22 (perhaps 23+) Basic Kits.

I have made 15 kits now and 10 are paid for.

The first 5 ON THE LIST to email me and make payment will get one of these 5 remaining first basic kits.

The remaining Basic kits will have to wait until I run off the next batch.


I have 6 deluxe models ordered.

We seem to have a few MIAs:

-10. Nathan Brazzil (deluxe) + stand

That comes out to 29 orders, so IF these MIAs show up we will run over to 32...

A slight delay, I got the castings of the reworked ammo clip made and got the new switches, then found it need a little reworking to make them go together.

After making a special tool I figured you would not have one so I when ahead and made all the changes here.

I try to consider what is special knowledge and what takes special tools and I have been doing all I felt would not be something I can expect a model maker to have or to know.

With the ammo clip I changed the outside with the switch cover and ordered new smaller switches,

When the switches came in the first two were not fitting so I ordered three more types.

When they came in I sat down and started to work out and photograph their install..And found I need to carve out a bit of plastic in a very hard to reach place. I ended up modifying a pair of cutting tools to reach into this space.

As I felt this took a special tool and special knowledge I held back and did all the ammo clips so they will be easier to install.
