Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone's had any luck removing the painted logo from the inside of a Safex ashtray? (Shy of "The Snake Pit", I'd just as soon have it blank...)

Thanks for any advice anyone can render!

Take care,
Mike

Since we never get to see the bottom of the ashtray in the film, who says there isn't something printed on the screen-used one? Wink

OT: I was always too worried about ruining the ashtray, to bother messing with it. So what I guess I'm saying is, I have nothing relevant to add to this thread. Embarassed

I knew Doc 3D used something to remove his that he he got off of me. I will look to see what he used. Honestly what is on your ashtray. I might be willing to trade for it with a blank one.

The glass kind, yes? In the automotive care aisle of wherever, you'll find a product called NEVR-DULL. It comes in a round metal blue can. It's a chemical dampened wadding that will work wonders on that logo. It will leave behind a residue that easily wipes away.
