Didn't Sean Young say in some interview that in the scene that she fired the gun it was super heavy, she had cables running up her back and up the sleeve of the coat to set of the pyro charge in the gun? And it wasnt working! That's why we have a blooper kit of her hold in the gun and nothing happening and then her looking disgusted. If so, Not a real working gun, I can bet no firing pin, and who knows what there using for the load. Until someone like Karl Tate chimes in, because it was in his hands. There is no 100% on what this was made of. _________________ The other Karl! |

First yes the cylinder turned in the real prop.
Second reread my article on the building the FIRST model see how I used aluminum tubing the make the covers!!!
My covers with a little care will fit around a real Bulldog and the cylinder turns I have already built a Bulldog into one of my models.

After staring at the photos taken for the auction, something struck me. Visible on the LH chamber eject side plate it almost looks like the shell is lined (2 edges) on the lower half. What if the metal was too thin ( like thats how the crack happened) So they lined the side plates with a coat of resin. That would account for the white marks inside. _________________ The other Karl! |
