UPDATE, 28 May:

The bullets arrived yesterday, but the shell casings still have not.

I'm in the process of building up the Speedloaders & boxes in the meantime.

UPDATE, 14 JUNE:

Well, I'm back from the vacation I mentioned earlier in the thread, & I just got off the phone with the supplier. The shell casings are supposed to be in my possession as of 2 JULY. In the meantime I'm still working on the speedloaders/boxes.

AND, as of this post (13:10 Eastern time), I still have:

20 Cartridges

...available, & printed boxes.

Sorry for the delay, people. Cool

The shell-casings arrived 2 days ago (forgot to update Tuesday evening Embarassed ).

I've gotten all the primers seated, & will be starting on seating the bullets tomorrow evening.

Nexus,

What do you have left and how much is it??

I was going to do my own but it's just one more project than I have time for.

Right now, there is nothing left (i.e., all product is spoken for). BUT, typically you will have people flake out at payment time, so some may "become" available then.

Prices are in the first post. Wink

UPDATE, 11 JULY:

OK, this is an update along with a somewhat minor hitch.

I've spent frakking HOURS seating bullets over the past 3 days.

All of my reloading experience has been with used shell-casings (i.e., previously fired at least once). To make a long story short, when you put a used shell-casing in a resizing die, it straightens & also puts a slight bell (or flare) in the end of the case. This makes it so the bullet can be easily seated (which also crimps the bell). In addition, the resizing die will frequently make faint marks (tiny scratches) on the outside of the shell-casings.

Since these shell-casings are new, I do not want use the resizing die on them. The result is a completed cartridge that has no extra scarring on the sides, & looks great. The hitch is, what would normally take a minute or so, has been taking me 5 - 10 minutes per cartridge. Rolling Eyes Shocked Evil or Very Mad

Because of this, I've only been able to seat a little over 1/3 of the cartridges. So the seating process will take me a few more days (largely dependent on how much access I get to my buddy's reloading equipment). Once all the bullets are seated, I can start the painting, which shouldn't take more than a day, & then were almost at go-time.

Anyway, there it is. Updates to follow shortly.

UPDATE, 22 JULY:

OK.

The bullets are all seated (& I managed to avoid ruining any of the shell-casings in the process).

Next I start the painting, which will, unfortunately, have to wait until the weekend. It's so FRAKKING hot/humid (sultry?) here after I get off work, that painting doesn't really work out so good. So I'll have to get up EARLY in the morning to get them sorted.

More to follow shortly...

UPDATE, 8 AUGUST:

Boy, am I glad I didn't take money for these up front. Everything was basically done accept the painting (due to humidity & other time deficits).

I say "was", because I was checking out the Speedloaders today, & when I got them near a window, the daylight revealed that I hadn't gotten the backs of the knobs as smooth as I felt they should be. So I stripped off the clear-coat/decals, & got busy polishing them correctly. All but 4 (which I will get to tomorrow) are ready to have decals/clear-coat re-applied. In addition, once the painting is done, I'm going to give each cartridge another quick polish, to remove any tarnishing that may have begun.

So - - - I'm hoping to have these done, & started shipping in two weeks. If anyone gets tired of waiting & wants to cancel, feel free, no hard feelings. But FWIW, when you get this ammo, they will the best that I could make them (& hopefully worth the afore-mentioned wait).
