Was just thinking back to the last time I saw Adam Ant live and it was in 1985 while he was touring the 'Vive Le Rock' album.
I remembered there's a track on the album called 'Razor Keen' that contains the following verse:
Centre and stop, pan right and stop
Centre and stop, pull back and stop
A new murder squad
Off kick murder squad
Kick kick murder squad
Hack my way in
On this tour he wore a severely torn pair of blue jeans that he'd graffitied with various slogans using a marker pen.
I remember seeing that he'd written 'I've done questionable things...' on one leg . Obviously a fan of BR. |

That is cool.
Sounds like the Esper sequence.
BR just keeps popping up everywhere.
Here's a link to the song....

Did someone send this into them, or do they read us? Wishful thinking I guess. Still very cool, especially since they never knew and are big fans of the movie. Thanks Marcus.

Someone told them about it. They are both huge Blade runner fans but I don't think they visit Propsummit.

I went to see the "Final Cut" in theaters a couple of years ago after having obsessed over the tiny details of BR since I was a little kid, and I was shocked to spot the "Adam Ant" poster. I assumed that it was a joke on the part of some 21st century video restoration engineer, digitally dropped in for the new version. I got in an argument with a friend last night over the poster's dubious provenance, my reasoning being that Ridley Scott was so obsessed with creating BR's world from the ground up; the "Kill" and "Crotch"
and "Moni" magazine covers, the decals on the parking meters; that there was no way that something so contemporary could be allowed to contaminate Ridley's world. Hearing from this billboard that the shot in question predates the new CGI version, I am pleasantly surprised. _________________ Those are my eyes, freezing. |

I am pretty sure it is projections onto the columns, not posters. The columns appear throughout the film and can be seen as simple stone looking material in the darker scenes as outside the Bradbury. I think they were just trying to creatively light the scene backgrounds and add to the visual noise to make the scene as thick, colorful, and chaotic as possible.
