Hi guys,
I seem to recall someone having some Steyr medallions. These are the buttons that would go on each side of the grip.
Anyone recall who that is or where he got them?

Failing that, anyone interested in a group buy of custom made ones? With a buy of 100 we can probably get the price down to $6.00 a pair or less...

Thanks for your help,
Tom

Hi Tom --

The member was marsattack http://www.propsummit.com/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=546

He made the STEYR buttons as cold-cast resin pieces from artwork I originally created for my box. I'm not sure what you want to do but I suggest you drop him a note. If I can be of any help let me know…

Best

MARK

Also do an Ebay search for "Steyr pin"...I have a few different ones now that would be perfect.

Thanks guys.
I think they would be great if I do more wooden grips, or I can embed one in the butt plate.

This is the style I am talking about...

they come in different sizes and variations in color. I think some of the ones i got are sterling silver too. The size of the more common ones are perfect for grip medallions.

Andy, can you post a pic of the ones you have? I'm curious to see what they look like.

I love stuff like this, and I never thought of using anything like this as a grip medallion. I didn't know they were around.

Thanks for sharing Andy. Those would be great as tie pin or boutonniere (button hole on the lapel of a jacket): pretty neat for sure!
