Hi All! Love the site...been lurking for the past few days and finally decided to register. I once was a semi-known professional model and prop maker. Left the industry and hobby some time ago and am now back...hopefully renewing my love of the genre and hobby...and strictly back for the hobby side. Need to respark my creative fire. Has been far too long!!!

Hi Everyone,
Been lurking for a bit on this great site. I'm "Szyntax" on TheRPF and other sites. I'm also on Eagletransporter.com under my name here. Great site, I just got one of RC's kits off the bay from Rich himself. He already emailed it will be shiiped right away! Can't wait to start it. I've got one of the Goldberg Snubbies I've been working on as well.
Love the site,
Doug |

Hi,.... only just discovered the site to be honest as I was looking for info on replica blasters (surprise surpise ). But from what I've read it appears to be a good site.
...And just to add, any info on kits would be great thanks. |

Hi Everyone,
I'm Steve aka Ki-Djowac on various saberbuilding forums like TCSS, TX-sabers and JSSDC. I'm from Belgium, Rebel Legion member so Star Wars plays a big part in my hobby.
Been saberbuilding mostly but done other props too like a Jedi holocron with a modelled Cad Bane hand holding the holocron (hand was done by a friend Master Jevaho). At the moment i have a standard Hasbro Boba Fett blaster on my workbench for a electronics upgrade : main 5mm LED to Lux III and modelling/paint job. Various lightsabers are also in the waiting line.
Got something going with my friend Master Jevaho called Force Relics : a 3D printing parts service for things used in saberbuilding, but other things may be on the horizon, who knows ...
I'm here to dive into the Blade runner world as i have my mind set on a Blade Runner blaster for my recently purchased Blastercore pcb. Hope to learn and share with the community here. |

Welcome aboard Ki-Djowak...from another Belgian/Canadian.
As far as blasters, you'll see that there's a lot of info on that board for sure, as well as many specialists into the history and on the different models/makers of our beloved gun |

Hello,
I have already briefly introduced elsewhere.
I am 51 years old, have a son and a daughter and live in Germany.
I built my first prop when I was 8 years old (a TOS wooden Phaser).
Since I'm into science fiction films ever looked for the weapons.
The film Blade Runner, I've seen in 1982 at the cinema and he has never let me go.
I have a lot of research on the Internet about SF-film-guns and seen many sides of Prop-makers. I think that Rich Coyle is the best, even if his comments are not always appropriate. I also like industrial productions of Master Replicas, off-world and Marushin. I've encountered two years ago on this forum. Since my English is not very good (I am professionally only once a year for a week in London), I am here only logged in as the translation programs were good enough.
I am here in Germany even as a mod in "Sinn Uhrenforum", as wrist-watches are another hobby of mine.
So I get a face for you, here is my picture:
Recognized correctly! I have no more hair on my head. I have long since retired due to my hobbies. _________________ "...ist sie teuer?" "Außerordentlich!" |
