My completed Sid-Kit Blaster with accurized details!
The Butt-Plate on the handle, the Weaver Knob, the Switch-Plate
(OFF-ON), the barrel and the round L.E.D. Housing's were all added by me.
Since I couldn't find a slider switch that is white like on the "Hero Prop", I used a little trick and used "White Out" to color it. This kept the switch from gumming up as it would have if I had used a runny paint.

I haven't really considered it...no,
I guess it would be easy enough to do though.
That and the two green ones on either end of the laser sight...*SIGH*...and here I thought I was done!

Nice job OB!
The thing that looks a bit odd is screw at the bottom. I've seen others filling in the screw hole and using magnets to hold the box in. Though not sure how strong that would be.
Any other pics? |

Good to hear from you beast...did you get my last PM?
Yeah...I'm not too happy with that screw either...though I like it a bit better than the wood screw that was provided!
I'm thinking of going with some smaller type, flat-head metal screws that would go in behind the housing so as not to be seen, then basically fill and sand that hole...then the extra L.E.D. at the bottom.
More pics soon I hope...probably as new details get added. |

Yes magnets work ...thats what I did ,ya got fiddle with it a bit to make sure that ya get the exact clearence and all that so it fits nice but it wont drop out if ya use the industrial SUPER type ( the black ones aren't strong enough) good luck!...looks great! _________________ I've seen things ....you people appear to be intrested in ... |

You doing a nice job on it.
I am hoping that now that your building one and finding out how hard it is that you will be more understanding of my efforts.

I think it's best if I don't comment on that remark Rich...plenty has been said on that account without rehashing it.
Thanks IGNITERS and Rich.
All MY customers know that if they are not happy with anything they have purchased from me they can return purchased items for a full refund.
More pics soon I hope! |

Most of the time was spent on waiting for the new barrel to be turned, the wiring for the L.E.D.s, the retrofitting for the switch and L.E.D. housings...etc...
A few months anyway... |

Not to mention the fact that I was also working on my all-metal SNUB at the same time... |

BEAST
I used four "bushings" to create the "holders" for my LEDs...got them at a place called Tacoma Screw, though I don't recall their size they were the smallest available. Once I had them in the blaster I just pushed the LEDs into the back of them and they held just fine.
I'm planning on heading over there to pick up another one to create the fifth "holder" on my Sid-Kit...you want I should grab five for ya? I could send them with the stuff you ordered! |

No problem!
I bought them today...four for the sides and one larger for the underside.
I bought two of the larger, one for me and one for you...Total price was .50 cents so again...no problem! |

The one on the bottom is a 5mm LED. The sides are 3mm.
