I got the new grip frame, butt plate, trigger guard set from them and it makes the world of difference. This is great to see how much further you can go with these, and it is hard to believe you started with an Offworld. Keep posting your progress, it is inspirational.

Thanks Andy! I'm having a blast with it so far! I'm experimenting with the paint job on the receiver and other parts for fun right now since I am waiting for that set to show up from OW soon...it should add quite a bit more weight to her and after that will be very close to being finished at that point! I am looking for real metal Steyr receiver parts so I can lose the plastic ones ASAP... after I get paid again I'm ordering the bolt set from Oz and this thing should be finished and styling!!! I love doing this and may start mods to Off Worlds for kicks right now!! The real parts add a whole new life to this baby!?! I can't wait for the grip set to get here!! Any day now! I will post pictures of course...then I should be ready to tackle a new project fairly soon.
I was considering trying to make the chair that he sits in in his apt while viewing the photos from Leon...maybe, maybe not... we'll see....

I think they need to do a bolt set, with the bolt end cap to make this thing complete Wink (hint hint). I also wish they would leave the metal parts unpainted. I got the shiny chromed butt plate, but the black trigger guard?

You could EASILY sand that trigger guard down to the raw Aluminum frameabdcblue it or whatever you want! I'm planning on stripping mine and leaving it the natural metal color to match the bolt and other parts that are chrome looking...I wish they would do a bolt set...if I knew how to machine metals is be all over it for folks!?!
I'm considering trying to make one myself out of metal...it voukdnt be that hard of I get some aluminum tubing, a grinder and some other small tools? I might try it out? The bolt kecer would be the hardest to do...but I can give it a try somehow...I'm gonna see what I can come up with?...

I have a couple of bolts (world con style) and a cocking lever.

Look at this picture and see it they might work??

[list=]

POINT is these do not have the travel stop on top for a full pull back bolt, these are for the short stroke of the worldcon with the slot in the rear cap.

I MIGHT have an older version which will be harder to fit but if you’re in love with the long stroke I could look for one.

The Steyr parts on the Offworld were not based off of a Steyr, but the Hartford interpretation of it. I think only the Bulldog parts might fit.

Thanks Andy! I think I can modify the part to work however... at lest I hope so?! I found a metalsmith in town that might be willing to help me out as well...I'm going to have him make me the grip frame parts out of real steel instead of the aluminum one so I might return the Off World set go them and take $$ and put it elsewhere!??...
All in all this has been a great learning experience... I'm anxious to start another already!!!

Thanks for looking Rich! I guess my question is..can the bolt pictured be used somehow in the Off World blaster I have??? If so and I can afford it...I will take it to replace the lame plastic one in the one I have now... if not, I'm going to buy Oz's Aluminum Bolt Kit and use it...Thank You...Cheers!

Well after some patience anda lot of fun here it is! My first Blade Runner Blaster all modded up! I replaced the cylinder, the entire grip (including the Bulldog frame inside the outer grip), I added some .38 Special Zoom rounds and a Bore sight round to add some cool blazer effects when she's all lit up! I also wired the green LED'S on the outside like the hero model but used black wire instead of white, also I shrink wrapped them for uniformity...I added a metal Steyr cocking lever (Thanks to Richard Coyle! ) and painted the inside of the rod to match it. Finally, I stripped the black finish off of the receiver and let it age naturally with no bluing at all...it looks like a heavily used street machine and I'm very happy! Not bad for my first attempt I think!?!?
The next ones will be better....enjoy!

Hope you all enjoy it...
