|
|
The subject of these came up in the Prop Shop, so I did a quick artist's impression:
In theory these could be made like my other enamel pins... however two things put me off. One is the fact that I would probably only sell about three and not get my money back.
The other is perhaps easier to fix: I don't know the correct dimensions. For my image I used someone else's guess of 29x25mm, which (no offence meant!) doesn't seem right to me. I don't think they're 'long' enough.
Does anyone here own a real one, and could you measure it for us please? _________________ Mike

Check this thread out Mike, Fred has done a lot of work on these. If you can make them in the almost carved style of the original,
I would be down for two sets straight off.
Also, many thanks for the iron ons, they are superb.
Tim.

I'd be OK to buy a couple of sets as well...

Three for me for sure. (I ever buy 3 of these little things!). _________________

Now I have three reasons not to do it!
1, the low sales thing. 2, not knowing the size.
3, I think my badge company could only make them flat and smooth, not like the scalloped look of the originals. And I suspect people would not go for this 'idealised' look.
Still it was a nice idea. _________________ Mike
